I am pleased to announce a very exciting workshop I will be doing at the Long Island Art league which is located at 107 East Deer Park Road in Dix Hills, NY starting in January running for 4 Thursdays, January 12, 2012 - February 2, 2012
We will have plenty of time to make some really magnicficant pieces! We will be working on silk stretched on a frame using gutta, soy wax and other different techniques. The 30 x30 in piece can be used as a scarf or wall hanging. We will be using steam set dyes and learn how to steam them several different ways. If you have never painted on silk before this class will be great for you and if you took my one day class you will also benefit from this class.
